Friends - Terry and Alan
First and foremost amongst my friends are Terry and Alan
without whom I would probably not be alive today. When Richard died they
were there to offer me all the help that I needed. They were there to just
talk to, to cry to even - although Terry was Richard's best friend at the time -
almost a relative, and I would at the time have put Terry and Alan into the
acquaintance category. Not any longer.
They have been together since about 1985 I would guess
(apologies if I am wrong with the date), living not far from Heathrow airport.
Alan is forever building, decorating, modifying, changing their house whilst
Terry provides the internal decor ideas and suggestions. As a cook I have
never eaten meals the size that Alan prepares anywhere else... many thanks for
all the grub that you have provided at different times Alan....
Sadly, when I was last in contact with Alan in 2004 it transpired that he and
Terry had parted company after all those years, and were in a state of barely
speaking to each other. Alan still works in the George pub near Hounslow,
and Terry has not been seen around for some time ... I hope that both are still
able to be happy in life ...
