Friends - Trevor
It was whilst at University that I had my first real experience of what being
gay actually meant. I found that I was drawn towards many different
people, and even went out of my way to find and seek experiences .... guess we
have all been there, done that and got the T-shirt to prove it. I'm no
different to anyone else in that respect. It was when I left University
that I met Trevor... we moved from Morecambe in Lancashire down to London
together and rented a small flat. We were together for 3 or 4 years I seem
to recall... but as happens so often in the gay lifestyle, things did not work
out as they should have done....
I don't have any pictures or know what happened to Trevor ... he works for BT
nowadays as he has done for many years, and is I believe living in the Leighton
Buzzard area..... last heard of only a few years ago (after a 20 year gap)
he said that he was kept busy with his current better half ... so I wish them
all the best for and maybe one day we may even get to meet up and talk over old
times... from all of 30 years ago ...
